Welcome to the new season on Minor Hockey! We hope you are excited as we are to watch your player(s) grow their skills, have fun and become a team both on and off the ice.
On Tuesday, October 24th at 4:30 pm ALL Minor Hockey Parents and Team Officials are required to attend a short mandatory presentation in the upstairs viewing area of the Kaslo arena.
If you cannot attend this meeting please let your team manager know as soon as possible so they can schedule an alternate meeting time with you.
Atom and Novice parents if your player(s) depend you to dress them in their gear please have your player geared up at home prior to the meeting – we will have someone available to watch the players while the parents attend the meeting upstairs. Your regular scheduled practice will commence once the meeting is finished.
The purpose of this BC Hockey mandated meeting is to :
- Review of key KDMHA Policies and Procedures (Locker Room Policy, Fair Play, League Rules, etc.)
- Review of KDMHA Complaint/Process Policy
- Code of Conduct expectations (including Social Media Policy)
Failure to comply with this requirement will result in the cancellation of BC Hockey sanctioning of events hosted or operated by our MHA – this includes practices and games.
